The fundus camera captures detailed, high-resolution photographs of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels at the back of the eye. This gives our doctors a clear, permanent record they can examine closely and compare against future visits to track any changes over time. Fundus photography helps in diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and hypertensive eye changes. The process is quick and painless,  you’ll simply position your chin and forehead on a rest while a brief flash captures the image. It’s a valuable tool for early detection, since many retinal conditions develop silently without noticeable symptoms in their early stages.
