Contact Lens Care & Hygiene

Good hygiene is the single most important habit for safe lens wear. Always wash and dry your hands before handling lenses, use only fresh solution (never water or saliva), clean and store lenses exactly as directed, replace them on schedule, and never sleep in lenses unless they are specifically designed for it. We will walk you through all of this at your fitting.

Risks of Improper Use

Sleeping in lenses not meant for it, overwearing disposables, topping up old solution, or using lenses bought without a fitting are the most common causes of contact-lens-related eye problems from irritation and dryness to serious corneal infections.
